The aeta leaders and members in the community of Sitio Quartel, Aglao, San Marcelino and the SETEM visitors from Spain did the mango tree planting on August 19,2019 in the farm lot of selected aeta farmers from the community.
The planting was headed by Pastor Boy Mandig, one of the members in the organic mango production and participated by some community members. The aim of planting trees is for the carbon offsetting and providing the beneficiary a sustainable source of income when the trees reach its fruiting stage and also strengthening the land ownership by the aetas.
